Mr. Mohammed Mahtabur Rahman, Chairman of NRB Bank Ltd. and Chairman & Managing Director of Al Haramain Perfumes Group of Companies, UAE has been honoured as ‘Commercially Important Person’ (CIP) by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh for his outstanding contributions to the country’s economy. Mr. Mohammed Mahtabur Rahman has received the award from Dr. A. K. Abdul Momen MP, Hono’ble Minister of Foreign Affairs, Govt. of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh at a ceremony held at BICC, Dhaka, Bangladesh on Saturday, 18 December 2021. Mr. Imran Ahmad, MP, Hono’ble Minister of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment, presided over the meeting. Mr. Rahman has clinched the title of the Highest Remittance Sender among the remitters through proper channel for the year 2019 in the NRB Category. He achieved the CIP status for consecutive 8 years. Mr. Anisul Islam Mahmud, MP, Chairman, Parliamentary Standing Committee, Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment was also present on this occasion.
